Another farmer involved in the ongoing farmers' movement on Shambhu and Khanauri border on Punjab-Haryana border has died. A farmer died in a road accident here. The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Charanjit Singh Kala son of Sardar Mohar Singh. The deceased was a resident of Badwala village of Bassi Pathana in Fatehgarh Sahib district.
Died during treatment
According to the information, the deceased was coming from Khanauri Morcha to PGI Chandigarh to get his kidney medicine, but this accident happened due to a stray animal coming in front of him on the way. After which the Road Safety Force reached the spot and admitted him to the Government Hospital of Sector 16. Where he was referred to PGI Chandigarh in view of his critical condition. Where he died during treatment.
