There was news of a bomb in an Air India plane going from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam. After which the aircraft was investigated and the news proved to be false. An officer gave this information late on Tuesday night. Visakhapatnam Airport Director S Raja Reddy said that someone called Delhi Police and informed about the presence of a bomb on the plane.
After which the plane landed safely and when the plane was thoroughly examined, it was found that the news of the bomb was a rumour. There were 107 passengers on board the plane bound for Visakhapatnam.
Such incidents have happened before also
Even before this, a bomb threat has been received on an Air India plane. In fact, recently there was a bomb threat in an Air India plane flying from Mumbai, after which the plane had to land at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. Actually, there was a bomb threat in the airplane on tissue paper in the toilet of the plane. After this the plane was evacuated hurriedly. When the matter was investigated, the news about the bomb turned out to be fake.
