Why do earthquakes happen?
The real reason for earthquakes is the rapid movement of tectonic plates. Along with this, earthquakes can also be felt due to meteor impact, volcanic explosions, or mine testing and nuclear testing. A large number of earthquakes occur every year on Earth, but in many cases, we are unable to feel them due to their low intensity.
