27 Indians have died in Nepal bus accident. Out of which 16 people have been saved. But the search for one person is still going on. The Indian Embassy has also confirmed this. The deceased were residents of Maharashtra, only the bus and the driver were from Gorakhpur in UP.
Deceased hailed from Maharashtra
The bus was going from Pokhara, Nepal to Kathmandu. Then at 11.30 am in Aina Pahada of Tanahun district, she fell into the river about 500 feet below the highway. The tourists in the bus were residents of Bhusaval in Maharashtra. Everyone had gone to visit Nepal. The bus in which 43 people were traveling.
Maharashtra government in touch with Nepalese officials
Regarding this accident, Maharashtra Government Minister Girish Mahajan said that all the people who went on Nepal trip were residents of Dharangaon area of Bhusaval, Maharashtra. He had gone to Nepal for tourism purposes. Everyone had left from Gorakhpur via buses. 3 buses leave from Pokhara for Kathmandu. There were 104 people on board. One of these three buses had fallen into the Marsyangadi river.
