A major plane accident was narrowly avoided at Brindisi Airport in Italy. The plane suddenly caught fire before takeoff. There were 184 passengers on board the plane. As soon as the fire was detected, the passengers were immediately evacuated from the plane. There is no news of any casualty in the accident and everyone is safe.
The passenger saw flames before takeoff
It is being told that the accident happened on the morning of October 3 when Ryan Air flight was about to leave for Turin. The plane was about to take off from Brindisi Airport when some passengers saw flames rising from under the wing. After seeing the flames, all the passengers sitting in the plane were evacuated. The fire brigade team at the airport controlled the fire.
Fire due to engine failure
Initial investigation has revealed that the plane caught fire due to engine failure. Although no passenger has been injured in this accident, Brindisi airport has been temporarily closed after the incident. All flights have been postponed for the time being.
Accidents with Ryan Air planes have happened before
This is not the first time that an accident has happened with Ryan Air planes. Even before this, Ryan Air planes have been victims of accidents. In one incident, a major accident was averted when a tyre burst during landing of the plane, while in another incident, during take-off, due to low pressure of the plane, passengers started bleeding from their ears and mouth, after which the plane had to make an emergency landing.
