Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Mayor Vineet Dhir has issued a notice against the RTI activist. While issuing the notice, Vineet Dhir has also taken strict action. Mayor Vineet Dhir has also completely banned RTI activist Simranjit Singh from entering the Municipal Corporation office building. According to the information, it has been said in the notice issued that he has gone to the Municipal Corporation office and taken pictures of government documents and has also tried to tamper with them, so this action has been taken against the RTI activist.
Tampered with government records
The RTI activist has not yet given any statement on this entire matter. This notification has been issued yesterday i.e. on Friday night. According to the information revealed, on March 5, building clerk Nitin Sharma had filed a complaint against the RTI activist. In this, he had said that Simranjit Singh had entered the office without anyone's permission. After this, he opened the record files in the absence of the concerned employee, took pictures and also tampered with the government records.
Entry will not be allowed without permission
On receiving the complaint, Jalandhar City Mayor Vaneet Dhir and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Gautam Jain have banned the activist's entry. In the letter issued, they have said that Simranjit Singh will not be allowed to enter the Municipal Corporation Jalandhar office. This has been banned. He will not be allowed entry without permission.
