Once again, there has been a threat of bombing schools in Delhi. This morning, about 4 schools have received bomb threats through email. As soon as the information was received, fire officials and police reached the spot and are investigating the matter, although Delhi Police said that nothing suspicious has been found yet.
These schools received threats
Delhi's East of Kailash DPS, Salwan School, Modern School and Cambridge School have been threatened through email. Police has started investigation by going to all the four schools. Officials said that the police is also following the SOP for complete investigation. Apart from this, Bhatnagar Public School Paschim Vihar, Cambridge School Srinivaspuri, DPS, East of Kailash, South Delhi Public School Defense Colony, Delhi Police Public School Safdarjung Enclave and Venkatesh Public School Rohini have also been threatened. Parents and officials have also become very worried after receiving the threat.
First alert received at 4.30 am
In a statement issued by Delhi Police, it was said that - 'We are following a general SOP to conduct a thorough investigation on receiving such mails. The first alert was received at 4.30 am after which fire department officials and police team reached the spot'.
Threat given in e-mail
It was written in the threatening e-mail that - 'We are telling you that many explosive materials have been planted in your school premises. We also know very well that you do not check the bags of the children coming to school. Explosives have full capacity to harm the people around the school as well as the school. Apart from this, we have also received information that from today to 14 December, PTM and Sports Day Morcha are going to be held in both the schools. A secret dark web group is also involved in this activity and there are many raid rooms as well. The bomb is enough to destroy buildings and harm people'.
