The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert on December 14 and a yellow alert on December 15. Meanwhile, on Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 19.5 degrees and the minimum temperature was 4.9 degrees Celsius. There has been an increase of 0.6 degrees in the average maximum temperature compared to every day, although the temperature of the state is close to normal. The highest temperature in the state has been recorded in Bathinda at 23.9 degrees Celsius.
Weather will change in the coming two days
Due to cold, the temperature is also changing in the morning and night. The effect of snowfall on the upper mountains is also visible in the northern plains. If the weather department is to be believed, then in the coming one or two days, apart from Punjab, the weather in the neighboring states will be affected a lot.
These cities will be affected by fog
There is some relief from cold in the city right now, but the effect of cold wave is visible in the evening in the boundary areas and the cold also starts increasing. Traffic is also getting affected due to fog at many places in the outskirts of the district. Fog is especially seen in places with high humidity near the highway and fields. There may also be fog near Subhanpur on Hoshiarpur Road, Adampur area and Amritsar Road.
