Its main objective is to make people aware of mental diseases. The same topic was discussed by the doctors of the Young Doctors Club on the evening of 11 October at Throwback Cafe in Model Town.
Adopting a positive attitude.
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Family Physician Dr. Vipul Kakkar said that this year the theme of Mental Health Day has been decided as “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right”, the objective of which is to make people aware and adopt a positive attitude towards mentally ill patients. Doctor Dalia present there said that it is very important to be happy for a healthy life. Nowadays, cases of depression are increasing due to excessive hustle and bustle and stress. The best way to get out of this is to laugh, joke, and talk to each other. If any person is struggling with this then he can recover quickly by adopting this method.
Doing your favorite work can also cure mental illness.
During this program, Dr. Binder Bhatia, Dr. Rajeev Dhawan, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Dr. Punit Gautam, Dr. Jatinder Prabhakar, Dr. Vivek, Dr. Amit, Dr. Deepak Kumar gave tips about healthy mind and body, they said that daily Do yoga and exercise, meet friends and neighbors, choose your favorite work which can include cooking, painting, singing, dancing. Apart from this, go on weekend outings with the family from time to time. The most important thing is that if there are elders in the house, then definitely give them time and share your thoughts with them because their experience teaches us a lot. It is very important to give time to children also.
