Women will get employment
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the main campus of Maharana Pratap Horticulture University during his Haryana tour. This campus built on 65 acres has been built at a cost of 400 crores. Along with this, PM Modi will announce the Bima Sakhi scheme in Panipat. Under this scheme, women will be given employment. The aim of the Bima Sakhi scheme is to make women independent and financially empowered.
Salary of Bima Sakhi Yojana
Women who become a part of the Bima Sakhi scheme will work as insurance agents. For this, they have to go door to door to get insurance. Women joining the scheme will get a monthly salary of Rs 7,000 in the first year. A monthly salary of Rs 6,000 will be given in the second year and Rs 5,000 in the third year. Women will also get commission on completing the target. Also, an additional amount of Rs 2,100 can also be given to encourage all women.
Documents to become Bima Sakhi
Women will need some important documents to apply for the Bima Sakhi scheme. For this, women must have Aadhaar card or any other identity card. Also, they must have a residence certificate, bank account details, passport size photo and mark sheet of educational qualification including 10th. In the initial phase of the scheme, 35 thousand women will be linked to it.
How to apply in the scheme
Women can apply online and offline for the Bima Sakhi scheme. To apply offline, women will have to go to the nearest LIC office. To apply online, go to the official website of the government. Click on Bima Sakhi Yojana. Fill the form, upload the required documents and click on the submit button.
