Western Disturbance has become active once again in Punjab, due to which the temperature in Punjab is continuously increasing. The minimum temperature in Punjab has increased by 2 degrees, after which the temperature remains 2.3 degrees above normal. Along with this, the maximum temperature of Punjab has increased by 0.4 degrees, after which the average maximum temperature of the state remains 2.7 degrees above normal. The Meteorological Department has clarified that the temperature will increase for the next 48 hours, but after that there will not be much change in the temperature.
New Western Disturbance active on February 1
A new Western Disturbance will be active again from February 1. Due to which there is a possibility of rain in the state till February 5. Light rain is expected today and on February 1, while light to moderate rain is expected in some areas from February 3 to 5.
Snowfall in 4 states including Himachal till February 5
Due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till February 5. Apart from this, there is possibility of rain in some areas of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
