The heat wave is increasing in Punjab. The weather is constantly changing. The day temperature of the state has reached 43.1 degrees. Today, on Wednesday, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow heat wave warning in 12 districts and an orange warning in four districts. Now the heat will increase even at night. According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance has become active from today. In such a situation, light to moderate rain may occur at some places in the state on 9, 10 and 11 April.
Orange alert of heat wave issued
There is a possibility of rain in Chandigarh on 10 and 11 April. During this time, strong winds will blow. On the other hand, the Health Department has issued an advisory to people to avoid the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert of heat wave has been issued in Fazilka, Muktsar, Bathinda and Mansa. While yellow alert has been issued in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Faridkot, Moga, Ludhiana, Barnala, Gurdaspur and Patiala. In such a situation, people will have to be cautious and go out of the house only when necessary.
