In addition to defeating his political opponents, Putin has proven himself even more powerful by starting the disastrous war in Ukraine. Putin will now hold the post of President of the country for the next six years.
Putin's new tenure will last till 2030
Putin, who has been in power in the country for the last 25 years, has become the first Russian leader since Joseph Stalin to hold the post of President for the longest time. Putin's new term will continue until 2030, after which he will once again become constitutionally eligible to run for the next presidential term.
Putin made Russia economically strong
In a ceremony held inside the Grand Kremlin Palace, Putin placed his hand on the Russian Constitution and vowed to protect it. During this time, selected dignitaries were present there. Since succeeding President Boris Yeltsin in 1999, Putin has transformed Russia from economic collapse to a country the West views as a global security threat.
