People protested against it
Some local organizations are opposing the recently built Hanumanji statue in Texas, America. On Sunday, some people from the local church group entered the temple and created a ruckus over the construction of the idol. About 25 people not only raised slogans in the temple premises but also harassed the people present here. According to local media, these people belonged to the same local church, whose leader had also opposed the installation of the statue.These people gathered near the idol and started worshiping. When the temple administration threatened to call the police, these people left.

This idol of Hanumanji in Ashtalakshmi temple has been completed at a cost of 80 lakh dollars. Giving information about the uproar, Joint Secretary of the temple, Dr. Ranganath Kandala said, 'Initially we thought that these people had come to see Murti 2 because they might have read about it on the internet. In such a situation no one stopped him. This group started circling around the idol while praying here.After this some protesters left and some started asking people in the temple whether they knew about Jesus Christ. They stopped people and started insisting that Jesus is the only God. Some people in the group told the children and other people in the temple not to worship them, these false gods would burn to ashes. This created a situation of tension.
Kandala stopped these people from doing so and said that I respect your God and you and hope that you will respect us. Some people started arguing with Kandala. When Kandala threatened to call the police, the group left from there.
