Every day we are hearing news of deaths of Indian students and youth from Canada, which is also a matter of great concern. Now a similar case has come to light from Brampton, where a 21 year old girl from Batala died in a road accident. Komal had gone abroad on study visa 10 months ago.
Went to Canada on study visa
Giving information in this regard, the uncle of the deceased girl, Narinder Singh, said that my niece Lakhwinder Kaur Komal, 21, daughter of Balwinder Singh, had gone to Canada 10 months ago to study. She told that she was going by car with her four friends for some work. During this, the car became unbalanced and fell into a deep pit. In this tragic accident, three other girls including Komal died, while a boy was seriously injured.
Had taken loan and sent abroad
This accident has been confirmed by the Canadian Police. After this accident, the family members are in bad condition and crying. A wave of mourning spread in the village. On this occasion, social worker Baldev Singh Balla Sukha Chhidda said that the father of the deceased girl, after working hard and taking some loan, had sent his daughter to study in Canada about 10 months ago to secure her future. Komal had just completed two semesters and she died.
16 people including 6 Punjabis died
Earlier, 16 people, including 6 Punjabis, had died in road accidents at different places in British Columbia, Canada. Among the dead Punjabis were four members of the same family who were traveling in the car at the time of the incident.
