Train passengers in Punjab may face problems. Because due to redevelopment and maintenance work at Ludhiana railway station, services of more than a dozen trains will be temporarily affected. This change will be effective from March 22 to June 29. Under this, services of 15 trains will be temporarily canceled, along with this 2 will be short terminated and 2 will be short originated.
Train services will remain canceled
According to Ferozepur Division, train services 54051-54052 Ludhiana-Ferozepur Cantt, 14614-14613 Ferozepur Cantt to Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar will remain canceled. Along with this, services of 14629-14630 between Ferozepur Cantt and Chandigarh have also been canceled from March 23 to June 30. Similarly, train 54603 from Hisar to Ludhiana and train 54604 from Ludhiana to Churu will also remain closed. Services between 54053 Jakhal to Ludhiana and 54054 Ludhiana to Jakhal, 64523 Ambala Cantt to Ludhiana and 64522 Ludhiana to Ambala Cantt have also been cancelled.
Apart from this, the operation of train number 54605 Churu to Ludhiana, 54606 Ludhiana to Hisar and 54635 Hisar to Ludhiana will also remain suspended. Some trains were terminated early and started soon. Train 54576 Lohian Khas to Ludhiana and 74966 Lohian Khas to Ludhiana will be stopped till Phillaur.
Along with this, train number 74967 Ludhiana to Lohian Khas will now run from Phillaur. Train number 54634 Ludhiana-Bhiwani will run from Hisar from 23 March to 30 June. Railway officials said that the operation of the above trains can be changed without any notice, so before traveling, definitely check the status of your train.
