Petrol pumps across Punjab will remain open on February 29. Ludhiana Petroleum Association Chairman Ashok Sachdeva has made this claim. He has said that petrol pump dealers in the state have rejected the call to keep the pumps closed on February 29, demanding margin money on the sale of petrol and diesel.
Recently, a meeting of petrol pump dealers from across the country was held with the executive directors of all the petroleum companies in Mumbai. Let us tell you that earlier on February 22, PPDAP had announced not to sell petrol and diesel across the state.
Margin money will be increased soon
In the meeting, a consensus was reached regarding the demands of the pump dealers. In this meeting, the executive directors of the companies have given assurance regarding the above demands. At the same time, petrol pump dealers in Punjab as well as across the country are hopeful that petroleum companies will increase their margin money.
Let us tell you that on February 15, it was decided not to make any purchases from oil companies. Had also supported the Bharat Bandh call of farmers on 16th February but now the decision to keep this pump closed has been withdrawn.
