A big news has come out from the farmer agitation going on at Shambhu border. A farmer sitting in the agitation has swallowed sulphas. The name of the farmer is being told as Resham Singh who is a resident of Pahuwind district of Tarn Taran. Farmer leader Tejbir Singh said that Resham Singh was angry due to no solution from the government after 11 months of agitation at Shambhu and Khanauri border. His condition was very serious but now according to the information received, the farmer has died.
First aid given immediately on the spot
At the same time, farmers say that the farmer has eaten sulphas near the langar site in the morning. As soon as the farmers came to know about this, they immediately gave him first aid on the spot. After this, he was immediately taken to the hospital but now the farmer has died.
Farmers have eaten sulphas before too
This is not the first time that a farmer has swallowed sulphas. Earlier also on December 14, farmer Ranjodh Singh had also swallowed sulphas. That farmer was angry because the farmers did not march to Delhi but he died 4 days later in Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.
