The administration is making full efforts to provide all kinds of facilities to the children in the schools of Punjab. Now Fazilka district administration has started 'Bag-Free Day' in government primary schools to promote creativity of students and provide tension free learning experience to the students.
No need to bring school bag on last Saturday
Children are not required to bring school bags on the last Saturday of every month. Fazilka District Education Officer Shiv Pal said that there will be no regular classes on Bag Free Day and instead of traditional classes, activities like rafting, story telling, discussion and yoga will be conducted. Paul said that there are 468 primary schools in Fazilka, in which there are about 72 thousand students.
There will be fun activities
Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Senu Duggal said that students will not bring bags to school on Bag Free Day. There will be fun activities on that day. Apart from this they will learn etiquette, teamwork, communication skills, good manners and bad manners. Officials said the initiative was launched a few days ago at Government Primary School, Ekta Colony, Abohar.
