Guru Sahib Ji spent more than 14 years at this place. Gurdwara Sahib Sri Ber Sahib located at Sultanpur Lodhi is a historical place where Guru Sahib meditated for a long time in Bhora Sahib during his life. Even today, people recite Gurbani here. People get busy in worshipping Guru Sahib at this place. Along with this, there is still a 500-year-old Beri tree in this Gurdwara Sahib, about which it is customary that Guru Sahib had pressed it by donating it at this place. Today, it is established in the form of a Beri tree and the congregation is blessed by seeing it.
If we know more, Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib has a special supernatural history. At this place, Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Sahib blessed the Sangat for about 15 important years of his life. Every morning, Satguru Ji used to bathe in the holy river at this place and would sit nearby and immerse himself in the devotion of Akal Purakh. Bhai Bhagirath, a resident of Malsia, used to serve Satguru Ji by offering Beri to him every morning.
Langar facility
Gurudwara Ber Sahib, which also has a beautiful lake, in which the Sangat bathes and meditates on the chanting of Guru Nanak Naam Leva. Gurudwara Sahib also has a spacious langar hall and a large tavern with about 400 rooms, in which the Sangat can have langar on Gurpurab. Special arrangements have been made for other days, and friends coming from all over the country pay homage here and enjoy spiritual pleasure.
