Ludhiana hotelier and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Jassi Khanguda has resigned after not getting the ticket. Let us tell you that there were big contenders for the Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat, but this time the party has fielded MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi by giving him the ticket. Jassi Khanguda left Congress and joined AAP in the 2022 assembly elections.
Jassi was a strong contender for Aam Aadmi Party ticket from Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat. But instead of trusting Jassi, the party gave the ticket to sitting MLA Ashok Parashar Pappu. Due to which Jassi was angry with the party and it is being said that due to this he has resigned from the membership of the party.

Jassi Khanguda is a former British citizen and returned to India in 2006. His father Jagpal Singh Khanguda was also associated with Congress. He is married to Raman, daughter of Congress leader Gurinder Singh Kairon and granddaughter of former Punjab Chief Minister Pratap Singh Kairon.
