Rajasthan Police has registered an FIR against 10 Punjab Police employees. All these police personnel are working in Ludhiana. These police personnel have been accused of kidnapping, ransom, extortion, forgery, criminal conspiracy and presenting false evidence.
Man arrested in false case of drug smuggling
Jodhpur Police says that Ludhiana City Police has kidnapped a person from Jodhpur. By claiming that 2 kg of opium was recovered from him, he was implicated in a false case of drug smuggling. After which she took him with herself.
Punjab Police also demanded ransom of Rs 15 lakh
The complainant told the Jodhpur police that the Ludhiana police had taken away his son Manveer from Jhanwar area. Along with this, they have also demanded a ransom of Rs 15 lakh to release him. They have also presented false evidence to implicate him.
Toll plaza CCTV revealed
The family members checked CCTV footage of different toll plazas to find their son. During this time he saw his son Manveer sitting in the police car. Which he was taking from Rajasthan to Punjab. After some time they came to know that Ludhiana Police had arrested him on drug smuggling charges and recovered 2 kg of opium from him. Ludhiana Police claimed to have arrested him from Daba Road.

An FIR has been registered against Inderjit Singh, ASI Subhegh Singh and other policemen Maninder Singh, Gurpinder Singh, Sukhdeep Singh, Basant Lal, Dhanwant Singh, Harpreet Kaur, Satnam Singh, Raj Kumar and others in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
