Is this a sign of doomsday?
The world is surprised by the floods in the big cities of Saudi Arabia and the greenery seen in the desert areas. This incident is being linked to a prophecy of Prophet Muhammad and it is being said that the doomsday is near. People are sharing pictures of floods and greenery in Saudi cities on social media and saying that this is what the Prophet had said.
A quote from Prophet Muhammad is being quoted on social media. It says that the Prophet had said 1400 years ago, 'The Day of Judgment will not come until people have a lot of wealth. So much that a man wants to give Zakat but finds no one to take it. Another sign of this is that before the Doomsday, the land of Arabia will again turn into grasslands and rivers. These holy cities which were once full of greenery will again become green.'
Sign of doomsday
Pilgrims visiting Mecca and Medina are also surprised to see rain in these cities and greenery in the desert. People who believe in Islam are seeing this as a sign of doomsday.
