Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh reached Jalandhar Unique Home for Kanjak Poojan in Jalandhar. Here Mankirt washed the feet of the Kanjikas and also gave Rs 5 lakh to the trust. He asked other singers of the Punjabi industry to actively participate in this trust.
The trust nurtures helpless girls
Regarding the Unique Home Trust, the person present with him said that the trust is being run by his wife. Children are kept here and brought up as per the government guidelines. A year ago, we rescued a baby girl from a 60 feet deep pit. Someone had put the girl in a sack and dropped her in that deep pit. After which the farmer informed the police about the matter.
During this time, the girl who was taken out of the pit was brought up by the trust. Some time ago, the husband had murdered his wife in the house, because a girl was born for the fifth time in his house. After which the trust also brought up that girl. This is the work of the trust, that they bring such children and take care of them.
The wife appealed to people not to kill children
The wife of the trust told that children from her trust are studying in famous schools of Jalandhar as well as universities like Canada. She has appealed to people not to kill children. If they cannot raise a girl child, then they can contact her and the trust itself will take care of those girls.
