In Meera Nursing College, Abohar, the Punjabi language department organized a 'Naatak Manchan' as part of the program series dedicated to the Punjabi month. This event was presented under the leadership of Jaswant Singh Safar, Director of the Punjabi language department.
The chief guest of this program was Sunil Sachdeva, chairman of District Planning Board, Fazilka. The program was presided over by Dr. GS Mittal, chairman of Meera Nursing College, Abohar. Abohar's constituency in-charge Arun Narang also attended the program as the chief guest. The program began with lighting the lamp. District language officer Bhupinder Utreda welcomed the guests of this program. The stage was managed by Surinder Kumar and Sunil Verma.
The play 'Tu Kyon Kiya Main Khoobsurat Haan' was presented
The first play of the drama show was presented "Tu Kyon Kiha Main Khoobsurat Haan" written by Akhtar Ali of Natarang Society Abohar and directed by Honey Utreja. This play is the story of a girl who has lost her parents and has lost the will to live. In which a psychologist creates a hope of living in her. This story was presented very well.
The second state level winning play was presented
The second short play "Mere Geetan Wali Kaapi" was presented. In which the life of Punjabi poet Sukhwinder Amritji was described. Which was written and directed by Kuljit Bhatti. This play was the state level winner of Kala Utsav 2024. Sunil Verma presented both the plays very well. After this mimicry was presented.
