Aam Aadmi Party MLA Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra from Amargarh in Malerkotla district has got bail from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. He will come out of jail after 11 months today on Tuesday at around 3 pm. Cabinet Minister Taranpreet Singh Saundh will welcome him on coming out of jail.
Fraud case of 41 crores
Let us tell you that a case of bank fraud of 41 crores is registered against MLA Gajjan Majra. He was arrested on 6 December 2023. During the raid, Rs 32 lakh in cash, some mobiles and hard drives were seized from his hideouts. However, he went from Mohali District Court to the Supreme Court for bail. After this he withdrew the application from the Supreme Court.
Lost in Nabha jail, slipped and fell
The MLA is lodged in Nabha jail. He slipped and fell in jail some time ago. He had to be admitted to the hospital. At that time the opposition parties had raised questions that the government was giving him VIP treatment by admitting him to the hospital on the pretext of illness.
