Under the Punjab Shiksha Kranti program, ministers and MLAs inaugurated government schools in Jalandhar district today to create a new history in the field of education in the state. On the first day of this campaign, modern facilities constructed at a cost of Rs 2.32 crore were inaugurated in about 35 schools. Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat, MLA Balkar Singh, MLA Raman Arora, MLA Inderjit Kaur Mann inaugurated different projects under Punjab Shiksha Kranti in their respective assembly constituencies.
Various works will be inaugurated in schools
These include new classrooms, toilets, boundary wall, cluster rooms and many other works. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is setting new records in the field of education and under the Punjab Shiksha Kranti campaign, various works will be inaugurated in government schools in the coming days.
Parents praised this mission
He said that these projects will give government schools an edge over private schools in terms of infrastructure and education. During this time, the parents also praised this mission of the Punjab government and said that the kind of facilities which are now being provided in government schools were never available before.
