Punjab Police has arrested 2 people while taking action against the international drug syndicate. The accused have been identified as Sukhdeep Singh and Krishan. Police have recovered one and a half kilograms of heroin from both the accused. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav himself has given this information.

DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav shared the information on X and wrote that Mohali Police has arrested drug smugglers. They used to supply heroin by hiding it in half-sleeved jackets. At the same time, now the police is engaged in investigating about them.
The accused was on bail in a kidnapping case
He further said that he was in contact with his Afghan handlers who live in Delhi. Accused Sukhdeep Singh was earlier involved in a kidnapping case in 2020 and was out on bail since May 2024. After that he was absconding from there. The police is engaged in investigating about them. Police will soon reveal the case.
