A hearing regarding the farmers' movement was held today in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In which the court has expressed objection to the tractors and trolleys of the farmers. The High Court showed a strict attitude and said that according to the Motor Vehicle Act, tractor trolleys cannot be used on the highway.
The court has said that farmers can also go to Delhi by bus or other means. However, the petition to stop the farmers by closing the border has been rejected. The court has postponed the hearing of the case to next week and has asked the Center to prepare a new affidavit.
These instructions were given to Punjab Government
The High Court has directed the Punjab Government not to allow large crowds to gather at Shambhu and Khanauri borders. The court has sought information about the meeting of three central ministers and said that a report should be submitted on which demands were discussed. It is worth mentioning that on Sunday (February 19), the fourth round of meeting was held between the farmers and the central government.
