The people of the village say that until the bio-gas plant is closed, the Chandigarh-Ludhiana National Highway will remain closed. The villagers say that this plant will spread diseases in the area and pollution will increase significantly, which will make their life difficult.
Leaders of many parties also participated
Farmers and political leaders also participated in this protest. Even Aam Aadmi Party leaders participated. The protesters said that the construction of this plant will increase the level of pollution in their area. His entire area is in the green zone. The plant will pollute the water and there will be a fear of diseases spreading.
Since there is a residential area at some distance, gas leakage can cause a major accident. For this reason they will not allow the plant to be built at any cost. He said that if the government wants to progress then such plants should be set up in industrial areas, the remaining industries should be started, this is a policy of killing people.
