Railways are going through a very bad phase right now, as every day news related to some train or railway is coming out. Now the latest case has come up regarding inconvenience to passengers, where the railway told the passengers at the last moment in Ambala that Shan-e-Punjab train will go only till Ludhiana. Due to which passengers going to Jalandhar-Amritsar had to face problems and were forced to travel in another train, which was very crowded.
Passenger Amit Sharma says that he had booked a ticket in the Shan-e-Punjab train running from Delhi to Amritsar. When the train reached Ambala station, the railway announced that this train will go only till Ludhiana. Due to which the passengers going to Jalandhar and Amritsar got upset.
Forced to go on another train
After this, another train Delhi-Pathankot arrived at Ambala station, on which the passengers going to Jalandhar and Amritsar boarded. The train was very crowded and due to the heat, everyone from children to adults got upset. Due to which the passengers going to Jalandhar-Amritsar
Had to face trouble due to the railway
Amit Sharma said that if the railway had told us in advance that this train will go only till Ludhiana and will not travel beyond that, then we would not have boarded this train. Because firstly they lost money and secondly they had to face trouble to come to Jalandhar.
Railway should take care of passengers
Passenger Amit Sharma further said that the railway should take care of these problems and the convenience of the passengers. Because it is wrong to leave the passenger midway after boarding the train with a ticket. Either the railway should refund the money of those passengers or drop them to their destination.
