Know what is ATM fee
ATM interchange fee is a charge that one bank pays to another bank for providing ATM service. This fee is usually a fixed amount. It is often deducted from the customers banking cost.
People using ATMs in different banks are also allowed free transactions. In metro cities, 5 transactions are free while in non-metro cities only 3 transactions are allowed. If more than this amount is charged, the ATM fee is charged.
