Started career in 1962

Became the company's chairman at the age of 21
Ratan Tata was made the chairman of Tata Group, a group involved in businesses ranging from auto to steel, in 1991 at the age of 21. After becoming the chairman, Ratan Tata took the Tata Group to new heights. He led this group till 2012, which was founded by his great grandfather a century ago. Ratan Tata did not go to receive the award from Prince Charles as his dogs fell ill
