A massive explosion has taken place in a truck in Ludhiana. The explosion was so massive that all the biscuits loaded in the truck were burnt to ashes. People nearby were terrified by this explosion. People present on the spot said that the truck suddenly exploded and caught fire. When the fire broke out, the driver jumped out of the truck. Due to which his life was saved.
Two CNG cylinders became the cause of the explosion
Let us tell you that there were two CNG cylinders fitted in the truck, this big explosion occurred due to their explosion. The accident took place on the bridge outside Gurudwara Nanaksar Sahib located on Moga Road. Seeing the blast, the people passing by stopped their vehicles there. People immediately informed the fire brigade.
After 1 hour of hard work, the fire was brought under control
As soon as the news of the incident was received, the fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. After about 1 hour of hard work, the employees brought the fire under control. The truck in which the explosion took place was going from Ludhiana to Moga. The driver has not been identified yet.
Police trying to identify the driver
The police have taken the damaged vehicle into custody and are trying to identify the driver. At present, the police are investigating the matter. The reason for the blast is not yet known.
Echo of the blast within a radius of 3-4 km
Police officer Balraj Singh said that the blast occurred due to the bursting of two CNG cylinders fitted in the truck (number PB10HQ8430). The blast was so powerful that its sound was heard within a radius of 3-4 km. The rescue operation continued till 11:30 pm, when the fire was brought under control.
