The bugle of Lok Sabha elections has been sounded in the country. The Election Commission has announced the dates. Elections will be held in 7 phases for 543 seats in the country. The first phase of elections will be held on April 19 in which 21 states will be included. The second phase of elections will be held on April 26 in which 30 states will be included. The third phase of elections will be held from May 7, the fourth phase from May 13, the fifth phase from May 20, the sixth phase from May 26 and the seventh phase of elections will be held on June 1. Whereas its results will come on June 4
Election Commission demands 3.5 lakh central forces
To conduct the elections, the Election Commission has demanded 3.4 lakh central security forces. Because along with this, assembly elections are also to be held in Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. By-elections will also be held on 26 assembly seats. Therefore, the Election Commission has demanded heavy security force so that the elections can be conducted without any hindrance.
Around 97 crore voters will vote
The Election Commission has made preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Around 97 crore voters of the country will participate in the biggest festival of democracy. The total number of voters in the country is 96 crore 88 lakh 21 thousand 926. In which the number of men is 49 crore 72 lakh 31 thousand 994. Whereas the number of women is 47 crore 15 lakh 41 thousand 888. Whereas the count of transgender voters is 48 thousand 44. Whereas the count of disabled voters is 88 lakh 35 thousand 449. Who will vote at 10.5 lakh voting booths.
