Delhi Finance Minister Atishi Marlena has announced to give one thousand rupees to the women of Delhi during the budget. He said during the budget that women above 18 years of age in Delhi will be given thousand rupees every month. This amount will be given under Chief Minister Mahila Samman.
Fulfilling the dream of Ram Rajya in Delhi
During this, Atishi said that all the people present in this house are inspired by Lord Ram. We have been working hard day and night to fulfill the dream of Ram Rajya for the last 9 years. We have tried to provide prosperity to the people of Delhi. Much still remains to be done.
We have doubled the education budget
Atishi said that now children of laborers are becoming managing directors in Delhi. 2121 children studying in Kejriwal government schools passed JEE and NEET exams. Education is the priority of our government. In 2015 we doubled the education budget. We have spent one fourth of our budget only on education. This year we have kept a budget of Rs 16 thousand 396 crore for education.
Budget of Rs 8685 crore kept for health
Along with this, Delhi government has kept the health budget at Rs 8685 crore. Rs 6215 crore has been kept for the facilities of Delhi government hospitals and Rs 212 crore for mohalla clinics. Along with this, he also thanked former Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
