Shopkeepers and laborers are afraid
At the same time, let us tell you that a bandh has been announced in Katra today in protest against the ropeway project being built on the Mata Vaishno Devi temple route. Shopkeepers and laborers fear that they will become unemployed after the completion of the project. Currently, devotees take 6-7 hours to reach the temple by climbing. But after the completion of the project, it will take only 1 hour for the devotee. The ropeway will be able to take 1000 people from one place to another in an hour.
Elderly people will get relief
Due to the ropeway scheme, elderly passengers will benefit the most from this. Garg has announced this in a press conference in Katra. During this, Garg said that every year the number of devotees visiting the temple is increasing. The ropeway project will also fulfill the needs of the increasing number of devotees every year.
