Jalandhar Police arrested 5 associates of gangster Sonu Khatri with weapons
Jalandhar Dehat Police has arrested the associates of the interstate gang along with weapons. Giving information about the case, SSP Ankur Gupta said that the team led by Inspector Sukhdev Singh of Sub Division Phillaur has arrested 5 accused along with 4 country-made pistols of 32 bore, 8 pistols, 8 magazines, 1 pistol and 2 bikes.
Identification of the arrested accused
The arrested accused Sonu Khatri and Saurav Gujjar are gang associates. The accused have been identified as Shiv Dayal alias Billa, Jaswinder Singh alias Kala, Baljeet Singh alias Gora, Chandra Shekhar alias Pandat, Gurwinder Singh alias Sucha alias Gindu.
Case registered against the accused
Police have registered a case against the accused under case number 176 under sections 25(6), 25(7)(i), 25(8), 29 Arms Act 120B. Police said that during investigation it was found that a case was already registered against accused Jasvind Kala and Baljeet in Phagwara police station.
A major crime was to be committed in Hoshiarpur and Adampur
The five accused were in contact with America-based gangsters Sonu Khatri and Sorav Gujjar gang. He had to kill the operatives of his rival gang in Hoshiarpur and Adampur. But first the said accused were arrested by Jalandhar Dehat Police.
