Its design is being prepared at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) of Railways in Chennai.According to National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), the Central Government will pay Rs 10,000 crore to NHSRCL for the Bullet Train Project, while Gujarat and Maharashtra will pay Rs 5,000 crore.
Work going on on indigenous bullet train
According to a report in Economics Times, a senior official said that the construction of indigenous bullet train has started in India. Its designs are being prepared in the factory in Chennai. According to the report, the bullet train will run at a speed of more than 250 kilometres per hour.According to the official, the speed of this train will be faster than any train in India till now. Let us tell you that all over the world, trains running at a speed of 250 kilometres per hour are called high speed trains.
Indian technology will be used
According to the report, Made in India Bullet Train will run on North, South and Eastern corridors. These corridors have been announced recently. According to the report, modern Indian technology will be used in the new corridor.Apart from this, items manufactured in the country will be used in these corridors.
Taking help of Japanese technology
At present, bullet train is being prepared in India with the help of Japanese technology. This train will run between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Its speed can be 320 kilometres per hour. There are preparations to launch Japan's Shinkansen E5 series trains on these routes.
Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is giving a soft loan of Rs 40 thousand crore for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. This entire project will cost Rs 1.08 lakh crore. According to NHSRCL, the remaining amount is on loan from Japan. The foundation of the Bullet Train Project was laid in the year 2017. This project is of 508 kilometers. Most of it is in Gujarat.
