This report of happy countries is prepared on the basis of evaluation of the quality of life of people of 147 countries. This report is prepared by asking people questions like how happy they are with their life. Apart from this, other things are also observed, such as how much money people have, how is their health and how independent they are.
How the report is prepared
The report says that factors such as eating meals with others, having someone for social support, family size and believing in the kindness of others play an important role in happiness. For example, people who believe that others will return their lost wallet are happier in the population.
