India is constantly moving towards strength and prosperity and touching new heights at every step by connecting with its roots. Today, India's importance has become stronger than ever on the global stage. India has strengthened its role in every field and especially by connecting the whole world through yoga and meditation, it has made immense progress in the field of spirituality. In the past years, the participation of people from all over the world in International Yoga Day and International Meditation Day has presented India as a spiritual and knowledgeable country.
'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - the world is one family' - this ideology originated from India. This belief also defines India's approach. Along with this, we should come out of all old mindsets because until we are not proud of our roots, neither we can move forward in our lives nor our country can progress.
India is one of the youngest countries in the world. There are many dreams, possibilities and expectations in all the hearts here and hence it is necessary that we plan better for the future of the youth to take the country forward. We need to give them a right direction.
We need to broaden the outlook and deepen the roots to understand our culture, tradition and values. When we deepen our roots, it awakens a sense of responsibility within us and the broad outlook brings a sense of relaxation.
There is no other place in the world where there is diversity like India. Let us take all the people together in the diversity of the country. Unity is the strength of our country. Every province of ours has different languages, different cuisines and different types of our attire. India has a lot to share with the world including tourism, food, technology, textiles, jewellery, Ayurveda, yoga and spiritual knowledge. Social service and spirituality go hand in hand; both cannot exist without each other.
Social service without spirituality can promote selfishness – like sometimes people do service to gain fame, money or respect. At the same time, many people say that they are spiritual and love everyone but do not do any kind of service, then they are also not spiritual in the true sense. There is no difference between patriotism and love for God.
Often we are busy fulfilling our personal needs but do not pay much attention to our duties towards the country. We have to change this. On this Republic Day, let us all take a pledge that we will remain dutiful. Only then can we be happy and content. The more responsibilities we take, the more powerful we will feel in life.
‘Unity in diversity’ and ‘harmony in diversity’ are the basic elements of India’s ideology. Considering life as a celebration, having a sense of belonging towards everyone and promoting love and peace among each other – these are the values of India. On this Republic Day, let us pledge that our country should move forward by becoming self-reliant and strong. Together, let us keep the flame of love, peace and unity burning and work towards a prosperous future for our nation and the world
