In this regard, all government offices, boards, corporations, schools and colleges in the state will remain closed.
Let us tell you that elections are to be held in more than 3,000 Gram Panchayats on October 15. October 4 was the last date for nomination. Scrutiny of nomination papers was completed on October 5.
19,010 polling booths will be made
A total of 19,010 polling booths will be made for the elections. Voting will be done through ballot papers. A total of 1,33,97,932 voters will cast their votes in the Gram Panchayat elections. This time voters will also be able to use NOTA.
50 percent seats reserved for women
According to the commission, the option of NOTA will also be given on the ballot paper. Gram Panchayat elections are very big, due to which it was becoming difficult for them to handle so many EVM machines, due to which it has been decided to conduct the elections only through ballot papers. Sarpanch will be elected through pink ballot paper and Panch will be elected through white ballot paper. 50 percent seats will be reserved for women.

Let us tell you that a holiday has also been announced on 17 October, i.e. 2 days later. This day is the Pargat Divas of Maharishi Valmiki ji. Shobha Yatra will be taken out on 16 October.
