Today, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh held a meeting with all the staff and top officers at Jalandhar Civil Hospital.
Balbir Singh, who reached Jalandhar Civil Hospital, said while talking to the media that the main objective of the Punjab Government is to provide good health to all the people and to provide facilities. He said that the issue of shortage of staff medicines will be resolved as soon as possible. Tenders have been floated regarding the shortage of medicines. He said that be it Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Kapurthala and any other hospital, there will be every possible solution.
Will recruit doctors in shortage
Balbir Singh said that in view of the shortage of doctors, around 1200 doctors are being recruited across Punjab. Along with this, there will be no shortage of medicines in the civil hospital and if any private doctor wants to do duty during emergency, he can do so and will be paid for it. Balveer Singh said that right now this is his planned visit but at some point of time he will definitely do a surprise visit and check that how much cleanliness is being done in the hospital and how much is not? The patient will not be allowed to face any problem regarding medicines. For this, both the quality and quantity have been increased so that the medicines do not run out from the hospital.
