The district administration has announced a half-day holiday in Jalandhar on Thursday, January 2, 2025. A half-day holiday has been announced on January 2 due to the Nagar Kirtan starting from Gurdwara Diwan Asthan Central Town dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj Ji, Nagar Kirtan will be organized from the central city of Jalandhar on January 2. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Himanshu Aggarwal has announced a half-day holiday in all government and private schools and colleges of the district.
