Change in LPG prices
Petroleum companies change the prices of LPG on the first of every month. For some time now, the prices of commercial cylinders have been increasing and decreasing. While the prices of LPG cylinders remain the same. But it is being speculated that the prices of LPG may decrease in the new financial year.
Effect on CNG-PNG and ATF too
At the same time, there may be a change in the prices of CNG-PNG too. Due to which its effect will be seen on the people using transport. The prices of air turbine fuel may increase from the month of April, due to which air travel may become expensive.
These UPIs will be closed
At the same time, the government is going to close those numbers associated with UPI which have not been active for a long time. This is being done so that online fraud can be prevented. For this, these numbers will also be removed from the bank records and their services will be stopped.
New rules of the card
Banks are also going to make updates regarding debit cards. This includes fitness, wellness, travel and entertainment. Talking about the updates, there will be a complimentary domestic lounge visit in a quarter and two international lounge visits in a year in select lounges.
Credit Card related rules
From April 1, 2025, the rules of credit cards are also changing. Which will affect the rewards and other facilities available on them. On the one hand, SBI will reduce the Swiggy reward on its SimplyCLICK credit card from 5 times to half. So Air India Signature Points will be reduced from 30 to 10.
There will be a change in the tax slab
The central government has made big announcements for the common people in the 2025 budget. All these announcements will come into effect from April 1, which include changes in the tax slab. Under the new tax slab, individuals earning up to Rs 12 lakh annually will be exempted from paying tax.
Traveling will become expensive
Traveling will become expensive in the month of April. Because the National Highway Authority can increase the toll tax rates from midnight of March 31. Which will have a direct impact on the pockets of the common people. From April 1, cars, jeeps, vans or light vehicles will have to pay Rs 15 more, light commercial vehicles Rs 25 and bus or truck (2XL) commercial vehicles Rs 45 more at the most expensive Ladowal toll plaza in Punjab. Along with this, construction machinery and multi XL vehicles will have to pay an additional Rs 65 to 75.
