In Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, a 4-year-old child has died due to drowning in the swimming pool due to the negligence of the resort owner. Due to the negligence of a resort owner and employees in Gattu Guard under Laxman Jhula police station area, a 4-year-old child lost his life. The child was taken out of the swimming pool in an unconscious state with his face down.
According to the information, the child was taken to AIIMS Rishikesh, where the doctors declared him dead. A letter has been written to the Tehsil administration on behalf of the police administration on negligence. When he got ready to leave the resort at around 08.30 pm, his child Advay was not with him.
Due to darkness and bushes all around the resort, after searching for a long time, Advay was found unconscious in the swimming pool. He was immediately rescued and taken to AIIMS hospital for treatment. Advay was declared dead by the doctors at AIIMS hospital.
There was no security guard at the swimming pool
The child's family alleges that there was no security guard and life guard at the swimming pool in the resort. There was no arrangement for lighting here.
Police station in-charge Inspector Ravi Kumar Saini said that prima facie Advay died due to drowning in the swimming pool and negligence of the resort management. The family members have also accused the resort management of negligence. Due to which, in view of the safety of the general public, it is necessary to get the standards of the Creek Resort checked.A letter has been written to the district and tehsil administration in this regard. After the post mortem report comes, the police will take action at their level.
