BJP faces loss due to alliance with Akali Dal
BJP state president Sunil Jakhar also seems to be in favor of the alliance, but the challenge facing the state president is that many senior leaders of the party are not in favour of the alliance. Leaders on the opposite side of the alliance say that BJP faces losses every time in alliance with Akali Dal.
The party is unable to connect people with its ideas. These leaders believe that if BJP has to prepare its ground in Punjab, then it will have to separate itself from Akali and connect people with its policies and ideas.
Due to being an old political party, the villages have a good hold
At the same time, the Captain has emphasized on the alliance of Akali Dal and BJP in Punjab. Captain said that there are many such districts of Punjab, where BJP has good vote bank in urban areas. At the same time, being an old political party of Punjab, Akali Dal has a good hold in the villages, which can be beneficial in the elections.
