Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who was on a hunger strike at the Khanauri border of Punjab-Haryana, has been detained by the police. The police have reached DMC Hospital to get his medical done. At the same time, the hospital has been surrounded by police from all sides.
Farmer leader Abhimanyu Kohad, who was with farmer leader Dallewal, alleged that the police picked him up in just a kurta. He was not even allowed to wear pyjamas and warm clothes. He said that when the police picked up Dallewal, he was resting.
Dallewal picked up at 2 am - Pandher
Samyukta Kisan Morcha chief Sarwan Singh Pandher said that Dallewal was picked up from the Khanauri border at around 2 am on Monday night. It is not known where he was taken. Many of the policemen who picked up Dallewal were speaking Hindi.

Pandher said that the central government is oppressing the farmers. Dallewal has been taken from the jurisdiction of CM Bhagwant Mann, so the Punjab government will have to clarify its position towards the farmers. It will have to tell where they have been taken? Otherwise, serious consequences will have to be faced.
Someone will sit on fast unto death in place of Dallewal
Kohad said that the fast unto death will definitely start. Earlier also it was decided that if something happens to Jagjit Dallewal, then the next farmer leader will sit on fast unto death. Now if one farmer leader does not sit on hunger strike, then other farmer leaders will sit on hunger strike in his place. Soon the farmer organization will meet and decide who will sit on fast unto death now.
