There has been an encounter between the police and gangsters in Amritsar. In which one gangster was killed in an encounter while the other partner escaped. It is being told that these gangsters belong to the terrorist Lakhbir Landa gang, who carries out terrorist incidents in India while sitting abroad.
According to the information, this encounter took place in Bhinder village near Beas in Amritsar. The slain gangster has been identified as Gursharan Singh, resident of village Harike. This encounter is related to the murder case of Gurdev alias Gokha Sarpanch. Who was a resident of Sathiyala village. He was murdered in Beas police station area on 23 October 2024.
Tried to escape by pushing
When the police brought these two accused to the spot, suddenly both the gangsters started trying to escape by pushing the police personnel. While running away, both of them took out their weapons from the nearby bushes and opened fire on the police. In retaliation, the police fired in safety, in which a gangster Gursharan was injured and died.
The accused escaped by jumping into the canal
Meanwhile, the other gangster Paras escaped by firing and jumping into the river in Mand area. An FIR was lodged in Beas police station in the case of the murder of Gokha Sarpanch. After this, on the basis of intelligence information, the police arrested three accused involved in the murder from Manali.
They were identified as Gursharan Singh and Parveen Singh, both residents of Harike and Paras, resident of Noordi. These accused were brought to Beas police station for interrogation. During interrogation, Gursharan and Paras were taken to the place as per their statement, where the accused tried to escape.
