In view of the assembly elections in Delhi, the Delhi government has declared a dry day for about 4 days. A notification has also been issued by the Excise Department of Delhi regarding keeping liquor shops closed during the elections.
In view of the elections in Delhi, the Delhi government has decided to keep the liquor shops and liquor serving establishments in the city closed from 3 to 5 February and 8 February. The Excise Commissioner of Delhi has declared dry days under the Excise Rules-2010 for different excise licenses.
Liquor shops will remain closed for 4 days
In the notification issued by the Delhi Excise Commissioner, it has been said that it is ordered that there will be a dry day from 6 pm on February 3 to 6 pm on February 5 and on the day of counting on February 8. Voting for Delhi Assembly Election 2025 will be held on February 5. At the same time, counting of votes will be done on February 8. The election dates were announced by the Election Commission on January 7.
